Introduction

We are One Payments Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202324291R) (referred to as "One Payments", "we", "us", or "our") and are fully committed to safeguarding the personal data of our stakeholders and customers in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore (“PDPA”) and other relevant data protection regulations. We value your privacy and are dedicated to handling your personal information with the highest level of protection. This policy applies to the personal data collected through our website, social media platforms, customer communication channels, mobile application, and any services accessed via these mediums.

Purpose of this Notice

This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy” or “Notice”) explains how One Payments and its affiliates (collectively, the "One Payments Group" or the "Group") collect, use, store, and safeguard your personal data. It also outlines how you can control the personal data we collect, along with your rights related to it, where applicable. This Notice serves as a supplement to any other consent you may have provided regarding your personal data. In cases where a Group Affiliate has additional data protection obligations, please refer to any specific privacy addendums that may apply. We may periodically update this Privacy Policy to align with future developments, industry trends, and regulatory changes. Updates will be posted here and take effect upon publication. Your continued use of our website, mobile application, and services, as well as any submission of your contact details, constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.‍

What is Personal Data?

Personal data” means any data about an individual who can be identified from that data, whether or not that relevant data is correct, as more specifically defined under the PDPA and other applicable data protection laws. Some examples include, without limitation:

  • Personal identification information including but not limited to your name, official identification(such as passport, national identification number, photocopies of your identification documents, driver’s license, work permits and residency cards), photo, nationality, gender, date of birth, telephone number(s), postal address, e-mail address and biometric information;
  • Bank transaction information such as your bank account details, the merchant or ATM’s location and additional details about them; date, time and transaction amount, payment instrument, details of foreign currency exchange, details of cross-border transactions and detailed information of any electronic money exchange between the sender and the receiver such as name, date, time, location, IP address and information about the device used to process the transaction;
  • Information that can enhance your overall user experience and enhance fraud management of the product, including your device’s operating system and platform, browser type and version, plug-ins, device type, unique device identifier, GPS data, location data, web or mobile analytics such as clickstream and page interaction data; and
  • Following information would only be accessed if you have given consent when the Company sought your permission with the mobile application: content information stored on your mobile device, contact information from your address book, digital contents and login information.

In order to process, administer and / or manage your relationship and / or account with us, it may be necessary for us to collect, use, disclose and / or process your Personal Data or other personal information. These may include those listed in our products or services application form(s), which may have been submitted via e-mail, website, mobile application or any other method.

Acknowledgment of Consent

By providing us with your Personal Data, using our website or mobile application, or signing up for or accessing our products or services during any of our interactions—whether directly with us or through our agents or partners—you acknowledge and consent to the following:

a) The Company may collect, use, disclose, and/or process your Personal Data for the Purposes and Additional Purposes outlined above.

b) The Company may gather your Personal Data from sources other than yourself and use, disclose, and/or process this data for one or more of the Purposes and Additional Purposes as described above.

c) The Company may share your Personal Data with third-party service providers or agents (including lawyers, law firms, and consultants) for the Purposes and Additional Purposes outlined above.

Withdrawal of Consent

You have the right to withdraw your consent to our use and/or disclosure of your Personal Data for any of the Purposes or Additional Purposes stated in this Notice. You may do so at any time by contacting our Data Protection Officer (“DPO”) using the contact information provided above. However, please be aware that depending on the nature and specifics of your objection, we may no longer be able to continue providing certain products or services or fulfill any contractual obligations to you.2. Information that we collect from you

We collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about or relating to you, including but not limited to the following:

a) Identity and contact data, which

  • if you act in your individual personal capacity: your name, passport or other unique identification number, telephone number, mailing address, email address, social media profile information, images / copies of your passport or identification document, your likeness (including photographs of yourself and other biometric information),utility bill or driving license;
  • if you are a shareholder, beneficial owner, director, employee, guarantor and authorized representative (“Relevant Individual”) of a corporate customer: your name, passport or other unique identification number, telephone number, mailing address, email address, social media profile information, images / copies of your passport or identification document, your likeness (including photographs of yourself), utility bill or driving license;

b) Financial data, which

  • includes information about your financial position, status and history, and payment account details (such as bank, credit, payment or other payment details)

c) Transaction data, which

  • includes details about fiat currency transfers, as well as issuance, transfer, administration, settlement, custody and recording activities in respect of security and payment tokens to, from and amongst your accounts with us;

d) Technical data, which

  • includes details about the devices and technology you use including internet protocol address, your login data, and other technology on the devices you use to access our website, mobile application, products and/or services; and/or

e) Usage data, which

  • includes information about how you use our website, products and/or services, including cookies, IP addresses, and account details.

How We Collect Information from You

We collect personal data from or about you through various means, including but not limited to the following:

a) When you access, use, or submit information via our websites, mobile applications (collectively referred to as the "Business Channels"), or our verified social media platforms (collectively referred to as the "Social Media Channels"), as well as when using our products and/or services;

b) When you complete forms on our website, mobile application, or related to any of our products or services;

c) When you register to attend our in-person events or webinars;

d) When you post, publish, transmit, or upload content on our business and social media channels or through our services;

e) When you register for, access, or use any of our social media channels or services, or become a member of the business channels owned and/or operated by us;

f) When you interact with our staff, including customer service representatives, marketing personnel, or agents;

g) When you request us to contact you;

h) When you subscribe to our email or other mailing lists;

i) When you participate in our promotions or respond to our initiatives;

j) When you enter into agreements or business relationships with us;

k) Through publicly available sources and third parties (e.g., demographic or contact information that helps verify your identity or assess potential fraudulent activity);

l) When you provide your information through the use of MyInfo;

m) When we receive referrals from business partners or third parties, such as instances where you have been referred by them; and/or

n) When you voluntarily submit personal data to us for any other purpose.

Third Party Data

Where you disclose personal data of other individuals to us, you warrant that such individuals have consented to us collecting, using and/or disclosing such personal data for: (i) the relevant purpose for which you made the disclosure or as was notified to you at the relevant time; and (ii) the other purposes as described above in this Privacy Policy.

Purposes for Collecting, Using, and Disclosing Personal Data One Payments collects, uses, and discloses personal data, with your consent, for the following purposes:

a) To process your application, including verifying your identity and assessing your financial and legal history, for our products or services;

b) To provide and manage products and services, including overseeing your relationship or account with us;

c) To process and address your requests, as well as conduct any necessary investigations related to your request;

d) To carry out due diligence or other screening procedures as required by law, regulations, or our risk management processes;

e) To follow your instructions or respond to your inquiries;

f) To gather feedback or request participation in surveys, and conduct market research or analysis for statistical, profiling, or other purposes to improve our products, understand customer preferences, and track market trends;

g) To communicate with you on matters related to your relationship with or interest in us;

h) To detect, prevent, and investigate any fraudulent behavior, misconduct, or illegal actions, and to manage associated commercial risks;

i) To fulfill legal or contractual obligations under any agreements or legal arrangements between us;

j) To protect and enforce our legal and contractual rights and obligations;

k) To conduct internal audits, reviews, and analysis for process improvement and commercial risk management;

l) To ensure the safety and security of our premises and services, including using closed-circuit television (CCTV) surveillance and conducting security clearances;

m) To comply with applicable laws, regulations, codes of practice, or to support law enforcement and investigations by relevant authorities, including in areas such as anti-money laundering, countering the financing of terrorism, and tax reporting obligations;

n) To share personal data with issuers on our platform or their financial intermediaries (where applicable), to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and enforcement efforts;

o) To provide personal data to financial institutions or service providers in connection with refunds or erroneous transactions; and

p) Any other purposes related to the above.

Additional Purposes

We may also process your personal data for marketing and promotional purposes through various channels such as post, email, phone calls, SMS, mobile app notifications, website, or online messaging services, including:

a) To evaluate and enhance the products and services you currently use or may use in the future;

b) To selectively send you information about our products, services, activities, and events that may be of interest to you;

c) To provide or promote services, products, and benefits to you, including through promotions, loyalty programs, or reward initiatives;

d) To conduct research, surveys, and data analysis aimed at improving our services or products, whether by One Payments or in partnership with third parties, that may be relevant to you (“Research Purposes”); and

e) To match your personal data with other data collected for different purposes or from various sources (including third parties), in connection with the provision or promotion of products and services, either by One Payments or third parties. We may share your personal data with regulators, related entities, service providers, agents, or other third parties for the purposes mentioned above, as well as for legal, regulatory, or other legitimate reasons permitted by the PDPA and other applicable laws, including in response to requests from law enforcement agencies. If we transfer personal data to countries outside Singapore, we will do so in compliance with relevant Singapore laws and regulations, as well as applicable laws governing cross-border data transfers in other jurisdictions.

4. How We Protect Your Personal Data

We take reasonable measures to safeguard your personal data from unauthorized access or disclosure. Where permitted by law, we may transfer or disclose your personal data for the purposes outlined in this Notice, both in Singapore and internationally, to the following entities or parties:

  • The One Payments Group of companies;
  • Counterparties and their respective financial institutions for payment processing and other related transactions;
  • Agents, contractors, or third-party service providers who offer operational services to the One Payments Group, such as courier services, telecommunications, IT, payment processing, payroll, training, market research, storage, archival services, customer support, or investigative services;
  • Vendors or third-party service providers, including advertisers and event management companies, in connection with promotions or services offered by One Payments Group;
  • Professional advisors and external auditors, including legal, financial, and consulting advisors;
  • Co-branded or other business partners; and/or
  • Any other party you have authorized us to share your personal data with.

5. Processing and Protecting Your Personal Data in Marketing Communications

We process personal data to selectively contact you and provide information about our products, services, activities, and events that may interest you, via email or number-based messaging platforms (“Marketing Communications”). This is in our legitimate interest. If these Marketing Communications are sent to a Singapore telephone number used personally by you, you have the right to refuse or withdraw your consent to receive them. You can also register your Singapore telephone number on the Do Not Call Registers maintained by the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) to permanently opt out of receiving Marketing Communications via your Singapore number. For other Marketing Communications not sent to a Singapore number, you can unsubscribe using the link in the email or message, or by contacting us at support@one.ooo. If our processing of your personal data for Marketing Communications falls under the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to object. To exercise this right, please email support@one.ooo.

6. Accessing and Correcting Your Personal Data

You are responsible for ensuring that all personal information you provide to us is complete, accurate, true, and correct. Please update your personal data immediately if there are any changes or inaccuracies. If you wish to access or request a correction of your personal data held by us, you can email your request to support@one.ooo. 7. Storage, Security, and Retention of Your Personal Data

Security Measures

We keep all personal data confidential and take all reasonable measures to protect it from unauthorized or accidental access, misuse, disclosure, alteration, processing, or loss. This is achieved through appropriate physical, electronic, administrative, and supervisory controls. Retention of Personal Data We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected (including those stated in the sections “Purposes for the Collection, Use, and Disclosure of Personal Data” and “Additional Purposes”). We also take reasonable measures to destroy any personal data that is no longer needed for these purposes.

When you browse our websites or use our mobile applications, social media channels, or customer contact channels, we and our partners may use cookies, tags, scripts, web objects, advertising identifiers (such as Apple’s IDFA or Google’s Advertising ID), and similar technologies (“Cookies”) to collect and store information about your usage. This helps us improve the quality of service provided to you. Cookies may transmit information about you and your use of our services, including your IP address, browser/device type, website or mobile application browsing history, and time spent on our website or mobile application, to the Company and our partners. Cookies enable us to provide and develop a more personalized browsing and usage experience and improve the display of targeted advertising to you. We may allow third parties to use Cookies on our website and mobile application to collect similar information. These third parties may associate the information they collect with other data they have about you from other sources. We do not necessarily have access to or control over the Cookies they use. Depending on the type of cookie, it may be stored persistently or only during an individual session.
